So today I finally got another camper in my town. They show up so rarely I was excited and thought it would be a fun way to kill some time and play some games. It's also fun to see who it is. But I thought there is no way it would be anyone I would want. Aren't there over 300 options of villagers who camp? And I only have 8 villagers left I would really want to move in. I go in the tent and it's LUCKY! The dreamie that is at the very top of my list to move in!! Out of all 300 and something!! The only problem? Yep I got 10 villagers D': Every other time the camping site has been occupied I've had at least 1 opening! And if he had just waited a week Sterling would be out and there would be a spot. Definitely my worst camping experience ever. Anyway enough about me

What's your best experience with the campsite? Or worst? Or both? Anyone here actually gotten a dreamie from it?

I feel like I had Marshall in there once, although at the time I didn't know he was popular hehe, but I had 10 villagers so :v I feel like my worst experience was more in the sense of them taking all my stuff through the games ;-; Lol now, I empty my pockets except for like flowers and then play xD

I had Lucky in my campsite, and it was great because I had room for him in my town.

I always check the campsite since it's nice to see different villagers once in a while... what I like about pocket camp is that you can interact with more animals without having to let go forever of your old ones :)
If you find someone you like camping and have no space, you can just adopt them here on the forums once a space opens up, it's nice and easy :D

Oh, about experiences, I've had a lot of animals so it's hard to say... from Ankha and Marshal to Monique and Harry, including, of course, Jambette. I've only ever invited in one animal, Cheri the cub. :)

Just yesterday Sprinkle came to camp but I didn't have room to invite her in :( My luckiest camp experience was about a month after I started playing. I really wanted Chief and sure enough he appeared and I didn't have to win any games to convince him!

Not long after I started playing New Leaf,I wanted to get a couple of my old Gamecube villagers in my town...mostly Kiki and Pinky.About a week after I built the campsite Kiki showed up and she's been one of my villagers ever since.I also managed to get Scoot,Agnes and Benjamin from the campsite at the same time I started actively looking for them.

awh, that's the worst and one of my mild acnl fears lol i've gotten a lot of sweet villagers from my campsite, but sometimes i do have to reset to roll the dice on x/300 when i have the time LOL i think the last time i felt super lucky was when i first started playing and saw diana in there. she moved in and lives in my og town to this day.

ahh i have kiki in my town and i love her so much.

I paid over 5,000 bells for an ugly cheese wall. Gave it to Rodney the hamster which made me feel marginally better. This was when I first got the game and didn't have many bells so it stung more than a tad XD

I find the campsite pretty useless, as the chances of someone you want being there, and you having a spare slot are pretty slim.

I like playing the games with the campers to win items.

I can't remember who it was but there once was a camper who I wanted in my town and I had to talk to him for ages. When he finally agreed to move in, he challenged me for a game with either him moving in or me giving him one item...

Needless to say I lost. I can't remember if I resetted but I think I did haha.

I am still unsure if I should build the campsite in my new town. I struggle to find a good spot for it and I basically have all villagers I want so there is no real "need" for the campsite. Especially since I think that the tent itself is really ugly with that bright orange and most of the times I only get really videos campers..

If I have a blank residential space, it doesn't matter to me who is camping, I will bug them til they want to move in. I like variety :)

In my first town, I got Lolly from the campsite and I loved her. I can't remember anyone else that showed up in it when I still played that town.
I haven't had my second town for very long but I've moved in Erik from the campsite. He's not a dreamie (I know I have more than 10 dreamies, which is a big problem) but I still thought it would be nice to have him. Only bad experience so far in the new town is Phil showed up after I got 10 villagers. He's not a dreamie for me, but my brother really wants him (The town is shared between us) since he looks similar to Falco from Star Fox.

I've stopped checking the campsite when I'm full. If someone like Skye or Ankha was there and I couldn't invite them in I think I'd lose it!

One day Molly showed up on my campsite. She wasn?t a dreamer of me but I invited her anyways (which was a pain!). Now that she lives in my town I?m usually in ?aawwww?. She?s just too cute!! I also had lucky camping. I know many people like him but somehow he creeps me out so I didn?t ask him to move to my town xD

I have one spot open and another villager leaving soon, so I was hoping to see a tent set up soon, and today I got lucky! It was Agnes omg <3 I know she's not super popular but I think her catchphrase is adorable and she's such a cute pig. Means I'll have 3 uchis in my town but I'm okay with that :)

I think the most disappointing camper experience so far was when I already had 10 villagers and Merry was there camping. I really shouldn't check the tent/igloo when my town is full!

The best experience however, was when I randomly found Kabuki in the tent and had room for more villagers. One pleasant occasion was also that I had Anabelle camping and my first thought was "You're cute, I'm going to keep you". :D
