i want to buy an animal crossing japanese guide book because i've heard they are much better than the english versions, even to those who don't understand japanese.

if you don't know what guides i'm talking about.. here are some examples!
here are a few that i recognize, but feel free to post others! (i'm just going by the coverpage currently because amazon is being confusing and i can't tell what the title is XD)

also, if you are familiar with a japanese guide, can you give me a description of it? like, the pros and cons of it?

hope this didn't sound really confusing

I can't remember the number of Japanese guides in total - 4 or possibly 5.

The two you show I think - the top one is the enterbrain guide and the lower one is the Dream guide.
Both guides you show are around the 640 page mark and both get a lot of good reviews on Amazon Japan.

When I was able to buy one here in the UK I got the Dream one as at the time this got the most good reveiws on Amazon (Japan).
It is very useful but also very frustrating as I can't read Japanese and the pictures are small and not of the best quality.

Another poster a long time ago now (on gamefaqs) had the enterbrain guide + another (but I don't know what the other was) and they said that the enterbrain guide was the best they had seen with clear pictures and well set out.

In the past I have always bought the enterbrain guide for animal crossing games.
I like the dream guide so not disappointed, but haven't seen the enterbrain to compare it with.
I think the pictures are still tiny in the enterbrain one.
Probably not that much to chose between them.

Comes down to cost, the guides are expensive in the UK (& I didn't want to order direct from Japan) so I'll leave it as the one I've got.
Hope this helps you - check the reviews of both on Amazon Japan and see which one is 'top' currently

For players in the UK here is where I order the guides from - very reliable and makes it easy.
