I don't know! There needs to be more diversity in the species, especially considering there are also three snooty wolves out of the 11 in total. That means there are 5 cranky, 3 snooty, 1 normal, 1 smug and 1 peppy. They should have an uchi, jock and lazy wolf instead of some of those double personalities

I waned to make a wolf island at some point, but I quickly ran into the personality problem. Audie and Skye do live on my island. and I am aiming to get Dobie and Whitney. I'm not a fan of Kyle so the smug personality is out. so basically, I only covered half of my personalities with wolves. So I decided that I would just get the 4 and fill in the other personalities with others species.

But yes, Dobie is best cranky! he personifies what I think a cranky personality should be. a literal "old wolf"

You could say the same with bears. There's also 5 Cranky (Curt, Grizzly, Groucho, Ike, Chow).

On a similar topic, cats have 5 Snooty (Kitty, Olivia, Purrl, Ankha, Monique) and 5 Peppy (Merry, Felicity, Tabby, Rosie, Tangy). Dogs have 5 Lazy (Biskit, Lucky, Walker, Benjamin, Bones).

yes. but, there are more bears and they are only missing 1 type. wolfs are missing 3. as for cats and dogs. they cover every personality type. for wolves, almost 50% of them are cranky

I love Chief because his design just looks so good! I think Wolfgang fits the cranky perfectly, though now in ACNH the crankies act like old people so... I guess Dobie makes the most sense, but really just wolves in general make the perfect crankies to me
