Bell tree question

Would wearing a lucky item during a day with good money luck increase the amount of bells from a bell tree?

I'm fairly certain wealth luck does not effect money/bell trees.
I've never seen anything written about it and its not mentioned in Liquefy's faq (gamefaqs). He has separate sections on bell trees & another on Katrina's luck.
Wealth luck I thought was confined to the rocks & ordinary 'shaker' trees.

Edit: guess players not likely to try it as once you shake the tree that's it, it reverts to an ordinary tree. But still I thought it would have been mentioned by now if it did work.
