In all honestly, I'm not even sure but speaking from personal experience, it actually worked since I did notice that Lucky's plot pattern changed and I got him where I wanted.

I'm plotting peanut. Been plotting her for like 5-6 days now. She's refusing to plot where I want her, but I won't give up. It's a plottable area. She keeps trying to move into stitches intended plot (who's vacationing in my other town ATM).

I never have that patience whenever I plot reset.
After around three tries, I just want them to go into a temporarily good location and stop.
