Bedhead on Purpose?

I tried & screwed up TTing a little bit back and had the bedhead hair afterward. I left it on for a few days as a sort of reminder to myself of my failure. I eventually went to Harriet and got my mayor's normal hair cut. The problem is I sort of find myself missing the bedhead look so I'm wondering about ways to get it back on purpose.

Here are some things I've found on my own but I don't want to do 2 of them so I'm wondering about the 3rd option and if there are any others I haven't found.

1. Don't play ACNL for at least 2 weeks. - I don't want to lose villagers so this is out.

2. TT back a few days and then forward at least to weeks. - After screwing up my first attempt at TTing, I do not want to TT again.... ever.

3. Wear a hat for a really long time, remove hat and you'll have bedhead. - This is the option I'm hoping is doable. I'm wondering if this is true. If it is, how long would I need to wear a hat? Could I switch hats or does it have to be the same hat for a long time?

Are there other ways I haven't found yet?

I think you can get it at shampoodle? Maybe I’m wrong.. or maybe that’s just an option if you’re playing as a boy? I’m not sure! If not I think TTing 14 days is the only way. I haven’t heard about the hat trick but you could try it if you’re not in a hurry

It would be great if it was available in Shampoodle! I know after 14 hair cuts you can unlock the styles for the opposite gender but I didn't find anything about it being a hair cut option. Although to be fair I've not done much research on the hair cuts for guys. Thank you!

Kub is right! But if you've progressed enough, you can get the option for girls too!

So it's true - it is available as a hair style?! Woo hoo! I just need to get 14 hair cuts to unlock the guys styles, right? Can I just switch between 2 different styles or do I have to get a lot of different styles?

Yay! I have 2 styles I normally get for my mayor so I'll start switching between those two first thing tomorrow. Thanks again!

Just for reference, wearing a hat/wig doesn't give you bedhead even if you stick with it for months if you play normally
If you deny a moving ping. save and close and stop playing play for 2 weeks IRL, when you come back you'll have bedhead and won't lose any villagers, there's also this option

Thank you so much for clearing up the hat question! I was still wondering if that was an option. It would have been more affordable than going to Shampoodle.

Oh, that would work, wouldn't it? But stop playing ACNL for 2 whole weeks...

Yes you can most definitely get the bedhead from Shampoodle. It's a boys cut and the options to get it are
Extremely casual
Loose and Wavy
Laid-back looseness

I find time traveling the easiest way. Unfortunately, many are against time traveling.

there is this hair cut you can get but its a boy hair style and it kinda looks the bedhead style

you dont need to not play acnl at all, you just need to not play as your main character,

you just need to play as an alt for 2 weeks and you will get the bed head
