Beautiful town ordinance still tell me garbage?

So ive been adding more plants and trees and bushes to get more greenery as my people have asked me, now its telling me
"Well theyre certainly giving it their all! The difficult challenge is the reason town building is so worth it!"
Now my citizen are saying
"All the weeds and garbage make them feel like theyre living on a landfill."
I have the beautiful town ordinance in effect. I have no garbage laying around or weeds anywhere. Whats causing it?

oh crap! i didnt even think of that! i have a couple baskets of perfect fruit and some extra axes on the ground I havent moved yet. Thanks for the help Ill try moving that and see if it helps

It will! I got a rafleesia because I had so much crap on the ground ;_; I moved a lot of it into storage and that helped a bunch! Good luck!

Yea the game recognises items as garbage when placed outside of your house (fruits, tools, clothing, furniture, & bell sacks). Mushrooms, dandelions and clover patches don't count as weeds/ garbage, just in case you thought they did.
