Beach babes?? (Animals on my beach what)

When Merengue lived in my town she was pretty much always on the beach; her house was right next to it and I swear that's the only place she ever hung out. I didn't really mind, aside from the fact that sometimes when I'd go looking for her I'd accidentally trample some of the flowers I was breeding! I don't think the villagers can really trample them though? They haven't in my game thus far.

How funny you said that.. Merengue just came to my town and she lived next to the beach, a spot I thought I covered but I guess her house fit there and she roams my beach now, haha

They're always on my beach. All I do, is follow them, diging up the endless flowers they drop. Even on the beach.

I've also found them hiding behind my Palm Trees during Hide-and-Seek.

Beach villagers are pretty common in my towns. In my main town, Stitches lives very close to the beach so he's often hanging out by the docks. He'll occasionally water flowers or plant some for me. <3 As for my second town, almost all my villagers live close to the beach so I tend to breed hybrids at my lower beach. (They all live near my side beach.)

But like others said, if you have a secret beach or breed at the very end of the beach, it's likely they won't disturb it.
