A BBC iPlayer Channel has been released, you should download it, because the videos are a much better quality than on the BBC iPlayer Wii website.

I didn't know it had it owns channel, my friend just told me about it.
I think it's pretty cool it's got it's own channel for itself.

That's awesome. It's too bad we don't get it outside the UK, because that'd be awesome to have. XP Maybe my boyfriend can find a way to use the channel with homebrew... XD

I wish I could, but...

Attempting to use the BBC iPlayer Channel outside the UK results in an error stating that your IP address is not a UK IP address and that you must be in the UK to use the BBC iPlayer Channel. Attempting to fool the Wii by using a region changer mod will also not work. The channel will load as if all is well and working, but once you attempt to play a TV episode or Radio station channel, you are confronted with an error, and are unable to continue.

Argh, why must BBC be so cruel? D= They do that with their websites, too. >_> I wonder if using a British router proxy would work... =p

Edit: Why the heck did I type router? -_-;

I lol at how secure BBC like to make their iPlayer, when people from the UK can just download an application to give themselves an American IP address to watch Hulu XD

What I don't understand is why any website would make their content viewable by only a certain location. That's just stupid. The internet is international. >_>
