Pokémon Battling online?

When you try to battle online (x/y or oras), do you ever have problems actually finding a good battle? I feel like every time I try to battle, not only does it take me an hour+ for ONE BATTLE, but EVERYONE online has a whole team of legendaries. Like why is it so hard to fight someone with a normal team?

Isn't there a mode on Pokemon Online that doesn't allow legendaries in competitive battling?? Just use that mode

It's weird that it would last more than an hour. I thought there was a 30 minute time limit. I kind of like a long battle. It starts a more strategic war based on stallers, tanks, etc. rather than just sweeping an entire team like in normal gameplay. Most legendary pokemon are not that great anyway.

oh my i thought i was the only one who observed that people usually use legendaries these days and mega cabbage is right...legendaries are not that uber anyways... its nice seeing them fall..
