The subject has returned all by itself, surprisingly. Since I have learned it isn't aggressive, I'm not going to lock it up this time. I have left it in a room with... its video game thing it brought with it. I am almost ready to start testing solutions to its problem. I just need a little more time...

Basically, I just made an excuse for my OC to play Animal Crossing. Now, uh... I need to start villager hunting.

List of possible solutions

-Separate the Inkling and Octoling. This is actually really dangerous and someone may die. This idea should probably be thrown out.
-Merge the ink together. This has not been fully figured out yet and may be impossible.
-Force the two to be one color at a time, like they should be. This is actually not as simple as it sounds and may require surgery. Do not tell the test subject...
