Hi
I have been given a bamboo shoot seed and ive planted it - it is growing in my town - is this just a Bamboo tree? does it produce anything, seeds, bells etc?

It's just a plant. The only thing it does (besides looking nice) is that it will spawn other bamboo shoots all over the area if you don't keep a watch. You'll start seeing the little star shape on the ground and you can either dig up a bamboo start or it'll grow into another one. They'll spread pretty quickly. You can stop it by putting flowers all around your bamboo.

nono they spread anywhere 2 square nearby them xD either survive or die next day xD

I love the way bamboo looks when you cut it and use it with flowers around it. Especially if you have any Zen pwps.
