Bamboo on the Island.

A few months ago, I went to the Island, and this girl gave me a bamboo. I put it in my basket, and left. I was curious to see if bamboo would grow on my Isalnd so I planted it there. Well, I completely forgot about it. What a surprise to visit my Island after all those months to find a jungle of bamboo EVERYWHERE.

Anyway, it was such a surprise, and I really didn't think it would grow. Has anyone else tried this?

That's... a good question. Maybe it has a chance to show up in the shop? Otherwise, it was some sort of hack, but it's still interesting that the island is programmed to allow bamboo to grow.

If anyone wants bamboo. You would have to visit my town, and we would go to my Island. Put some in your basket, then leave and go to your Island and plant the bamboo.

It's a shame you can't wear bamboo as an accessory/hat... that's usually how I bring flowers to my island

I've done this, I love bamboo on my island . You can just see my bamboo behind in this pic

I planted roses around so it didn't spread too far.

I should say I didn't do this myself, I have friends with older versions of Japanese games/consoles and they love trying glitches and it's thanks to them my island is decorated.​
