Buying Bamboo, King/Queen Chess Pieces

I know it sounds crazy, but I'm looking for about 10 bamboo shoots. I have bamboo going crazy in my town, but just decided I wanted to chop it all and start it over... and try and keep it a little more contained and organized.

Also, looking for the King and Queen Chess pieces. Not sure I could really afford to buy, but we can discuss that option if you'd like. I'd really like to at least catalog it, though. It is a gift for a friend. Let me know your prices.
