You may not re-sell or trade him once you've adopted him from me. You may give him away for free. If I catch you trading or selling him in the future, I will disallow you from adopting villagers from me.
I will keep entries open until 1:00 AM EST (which is 10 hours from the time this thread was created.) I may or may not be home at the time of the end of the giveaway; please bear with me. I will give the winner 24 hours from the time I return (whether I'm here on time, or not) to adopt Bam.
To enter, just write that you want to enter. Be sure you have read all of these rules, as well. Anyone with picture dreamie proof in their signature gets 3 entries. Text signature dreamie proof will get you 2 entries. You can still enter if he isn't your dreamie, but you will only get one entry.

The point of raffling off villagers? Bam is pretty popular so I want as many people as possible to have a chance, rather than the first person...
Or if you're talking specifically about why I won't allow people to re-sell him: I don't know about you, but I would feel disrespected if someone tried to make a profit off of a gift I gave them. It's kind of the same as in real life... it's just proper etiquette, lol. I'm more than happy to donate Bells to someone in need, if they ask politely, and all that jazz. I'd rather have my villager go to a loving home. (I guess I'm pretty sentimental about this game...) Bam is one of my dreamies in my main town, as well, so... haha.
