How can you enforce that? What if something comes up (e.g. the person has a 10th villager move in randomly) or runs out of bells?

Well I put that there so that people can't just pull out their bid at the last second, I even stated in that quote that I will work something out with the highest bidder (winner) I don't mind waiting for them to get the money or trying to get a villager out. I understand things come up, I haven't changed the day since Bam told me he was leaving because I knew that what I was going to wait til this was over. I guess in my mind I was hoping that the person bidding would keep the money they placed as a bid and a space open so that we can get the trade done quickly so that both me and the person buying are satisfied.
