Balloons as decorations

With the latest fireworks update, there are quite a few balloons available through reeds raffle. While they are great to hold I worry about tripping and losing one and have found them as a great addition to the decoration on my island. They don’t take up much space and I have found they look nice in the urban and shopping area of my island. Do you plan on using them on your island and if so where?

It's birthday month for me so I'm using them as deco outside. Probably gonna find a place for the pink one indoors and put the others away for storage.

Already had it planned. I traded balloons for other balloon colors yesterday lol. They'll probably go around my house and diner area if I make one.

I do want to use them as decor, but I'm unsure of where to put them. I do know I want to reference Phineas' balloon stand from City Folk using the balloons and a street organ. Probably near Nook's Cranny and Able's.

Right now there isn't much to my island since I restarted so I put two balloons and some yellow mums by the airport entrance to greet any potential visitors

I want to use the balloons as decor as well, but I don't know where to put them. Kinda wish there were white balloons though.

I'm using mine as decor near my museum. I'm keeping the rest in storage for now though.

honestly that's pretty much what i ended up doing with all the balloons i got. i color coordinated them to my villagers' yards as decorations
i ran around while holding one for a good while but i guess my luck that day was just too good so i didn't trip even once. eventually got bored of it so the next best thing was to use them as decoration after finding out they can be placed down.

Probably going to waste bells to get more during the fireworks show.

I wish they could be placed on top of person-hole covers. I think a red one would look quite nice there.

I put some yellow ones around cause I'm always looking for yellow things to add to the aesthetic.

I have a balloon phobia IRL, so I don't want too many around my island. I have two red ones near my carnival area for a somewhat spooky vibe which I like quite a bit, but otherwise I don't think I'll use any more.

For now, I'm putting balloons outside of each of my character's (not villager's) houses. Eventually, when I make my fair area a little nicer, I may put some there. Or maybe display some in my free DIY market!

I do now! These are lovely ideas.

May also hoard a few to place outside of villager homes for their birthdays.

Yes, I have dotted a few about already and plan to put more spares around my fairground area and also in general. Red balloons will come in handy for Halloween decoration too!

I used a few around my carousel, and I have a birthday party room at Harv's island that I plan on adding a few to.
Balloons were an item I really wanted, and I love having my character walk around with the pink one! Am paranoid about losing it though. I keep reminding myself not to run!

There's no white balloon so I can't get one that would fit my island's theme, but if I ever go back to having a pink island I'll definitely use the pink balloons somewhere!

I just put them upstairs in my house. I don't really have any reason to use them, but I think they look nice.
