Left 4 Dead

what windows linux or os?
Gateway uses the OS Windows.

Also it would have to be 2003+ because 98 and and 95 wouldn't work. Another fail.
But then he has vista so it is all good.

OS = Operating System?

Can you try to type properly? Your posts are hard to understand.

Do you even know what an OS is? It's an operating system you're thinking of OS X which is Mac.

I'm not entirely sure...
But your laptop's specs look ok to me.
I mean, unless someone who can really tell you what it is... I have no idea.

Reporting for duty, sir.

Tom, your laptop isn't very good, to be honest. I'm surprised you're able to run those games with those specs in the first place. Adding about 2-4 more GB of RAM would help you out greatly. You'll need at least 3.0 ghz for that intel core two duo, which is impossible to replace unless you buy a new comp. I'll also need to know your graphics card, because that probably needs upgrading as well.

My recommendation would be to save about $800, go out and buy a very good desktop hard-drive, your own monitor, and probably some speakers and a mouse.

I see.

The Graphics card I believe is Mobile Intel 965 Express Chipset Family.

Yeah, Mobile Intels aren't very good graphics cards at all. They're integrated into the hard drive itself, so it cannot be replaced at all. They also overheat quickly.

It seems that you're either going to have to upgrade your RAM and deal with the crappy video card, or start saving up some money for a good desktop computer.

Alright then. I'll have to look into getting one sometime then.

Actually the ram should be perfectly fine, 2 gigs is enough. More is always better and ram is cheaper right now, but 2 gigs is still good.

Everything else bdubs says sounds fine though.
