Bad luck...

Lately I'm having bad luck with this game...but I guess good luck at the same time...
Let me explain

So I just got a random move in...they moved right on my path. :/

Luckily though it's Stitches. Who I already have in another town, but I'll just let him move when he asks in my other town. Anyways, I think I managed to make his house placement look okay. Another plus is he put his home on the correct side of my town.

I seem to have been really lucky with villager house placements from reading this thread. I got all my permanents for now and they all managed to move in without ruining my paths/house/town hall etc.
Although I've found several times they just move into the same space, or near as, as the previous villager who left.

You're lucky getting a villager you like as a random think I could have played for years and never had a villager I loved move in of their own accord. Don't even get anybody good at the campsite....ever

My house placements have been alright. No one has moved onto a path or crushed any trees yet. Seven of my villagers are below the river & 3 are above it, 2 of those are close to my house (but far enough away that I don't feel crowded). I did plot reset at the beginning, but now I don't really care enough. I'll just fix whatever is messed up.

I hardly ever get anyone good in the campsite, the only time campers show up is when my town is full. If I could get rid of the campsite, I would.
