Bad Luck Despite Fung Shui?

A while back, I had this horrible spot of bad luck. I'm talking tripping every 10 steps kind of bad luck. It was so aggravating that I started doing feng shui that very day. Now my house is filled, south with green, east with red, west with yellow. I thought I was fine, everything was great. Until today, where I stepped out of my house only to fall flat on my face. I'm tripping every 5 steps here. Anyone else encounter this problem, having bad luck despite perfect feng shui?

Do bandages count as a mask? Otherwise, the only thing I could think that's tripping me up are my boots.

Feng shui (oops been spelling that wrong all my life haha thanks) only affects my house? I knew there was random luck pertaining to my character every day, but I thought that feng shui affected THAT luck, not just how lucky my house is. Wow, uh. That's kind of useless. I suggest changing up your clothes to "lighter" styles. I think even when Katrina comes into town your tripping is only a bit likely, so just get her fortune anyway.

Lighter clothes, got it. So maybe I should go buy a pair of shoes from Kicks...I'm wearing shorts and a sleeveless right now, would that include taking accessories off?

And, well, heh, I haven't gotten to the point there I have Katrina's shop unlocked. She's only been to my town once. I mean, I got her to read my fortune then, but once is once. I guess I'll just deal with the tripping if the clothes don't work or TT to tomorrow. Thanks for the advice!
