Babies! Vent!

That sucks dude. I have 2 baby siblings, and the 2 year old one loves to play on my 3DS. He usually just walks around though, but once he axed up a few of my trees. Kids will be kids :/

Also I love Resetti. I quit just to see him sometimes, he's hilarious!

what a tragedy. shame on them for not locking their 18 month old baby in a cage, everyone knows that games about talking animals are much more important than the freedom and well-being of children

sorry that happened to you, but I guess it's a better idea from now on to actually save frequently! :)

I have small small siblings and I knew from day one that I'd have to save after anything big happens because I'm not gonna risk losing the data because I didn't save and left it out.

kids are mischievous!
I hope you've calmed down now and learned a little from this. ♡

I babysit a young one (4 year old) and he has a 3DS of his own and I must say, I am a boss a babysitting. We would play ACNL the whole time c:

I'm the only one whos going to comment on the fact they didnt save? o_o I save every time I remember XD, ( Saving) 10- seconds later o.o " did I save? Welp, Better save again!"
I also would never ever leave my 3ds near children/babies or anyone in genera,l I hate so much when anybody touches my stuff. People have the habit of touching the screen, Dropping my stuff/breaking it, or they were just eating and now have their hands all over my 3ds o.e snooping around my info also, Its like staph!!!

My little brother and I are ten years apart. When he was around 3-4 years old, he would always play my games when I was away at school and delete my files. ;~;

He did that to literally like, every game I cared about.

Animal Crossing Wild World, Pokemon Ruby, Sims 2, idek.

When he got old enough, like a few years ago (he's 12 now, I am going to be 22 in May), I deleted some of his save files just to finally put to rest the anger that was trapped inside my soul. xD

Hah! My brother and I are ten years apart too, and I remember being maybe eight and finding a bunch of my stuff in his room... when I asked him why he had miscellaneous teddy bears, dolls, books, etc of mine all he said was, "Now you know how it feels".

Apparently I was really into stealing his dinosaurs when I was a toddler...

Back on topic, kids man. They do these things. Honestly OP's lucky their system didn't get broken or the cartridge taken out or anything... it could have been much worse. A 16-month-old can do a LOT of damage in the time it takes Mom to run to the bathroom D:

Update. Apparently when I went to the Dream Suite, it saved what I did prior. So I only lost Going to the island. I feel better now.

For some posters: There was no need for Sarcasm!

I was never MAD at my nephew anyway. He's 16 months and doesn't know any better. Frankly I'm glad he didn't throw it. He's a thrower and my sister has hard flooring.

Too much negativity in this thread >_< People need to stop pointing fingers. It's unfortunate that this happened, and I understand that you probably just wanted to have a rant ^_^ You should be able to do that without sparking a debate about childcare/responsibility.

Glad things turned out ok!

Not to be rude, but why didn't you put it somewhere out of the baby's reach? Or carry it with you in your bag?
