Does that ever happen? You buy or receive an item that you really like, you hurry over to your house to set it somewhere... and find that it doesn't really fit anywhere. Or you want to use it, but it doesn't go well with your house.
The latest Nook special was the Wall-Mounted Monitor and the moment I saw it I was like "This is awesome!"
But as you can see I can't replace the TV in the living-room with it. The fact that it's two blocks wide and the screen is on the left side makes it worse. I could probably fit it over on the opposite side of the doorway, but it looks silly either way.
I figured I'd bring it over to the game room I have going in the left room and well..
Maybe it would work better if I moved the Pear Dresser somewhere else. I like the crane game and it only looks good facing south. I had to take out the pinball machine in order to move the monitor a square left of where you see it and it just doesn't look good to begin with.

I do have a few out of place items in one of my rooms though
I make rooms I really like on the main floors of my home and then change up my basement every now and then to match what I'm in the mood for. It only takes one or two pieces to get my imagination going.
