I found this really cute icon, and it's transparent when I searched it on google. (it had the checkered background)

So it's transparent here, but when I put the link into the edit avatar thing in the settings, it had a white background.

I don't know why it's doing this..
And as you can see, it's not transparent on my avatar currently.

i dont think transparent pictures will show up transparent on ur avi. they'll have a white bg, but if u want u can put it in ur signature and it'll show up transparent

You can have avatars with a transparent background, I'm not sure why it added the white background for you but I'd guess it might be because it was over the size limit? I resized the image myself and was able to use it with the transparent bg (it looked pretty hilarious because i dont know who the guy is)
anyway if you still want it here's the 100x100, it should work for u too (if it doesn't try saving the image and uploading it instead of uploading it via url)

Sometimes if you get too lazy to resize it, fill in the white part with the color of the sidebar. I think the code is #F9F6F0

For me, it won't go transparent if I upload it directly from my pictures, but will do if I have a URL for it......idk lmao
