Avatar animation help?

I found an animation avatar I wanted to use but when I put it as my avatar, its just a normal pic and doesn't move, I bought the avatar animation from the shop. Anyone know how to make it so it moves?

you need to shrink the image down to the avatar size before you upload it, otherwise it wont animate.

the default avatar size is 100x100 pixels, so shrink it to these dimensions (obv not exact because its not a square image) and upload it, and it'll work

I was just doing my gif avatar!

You need the width to not exceed 100 pixels and the the height 100 pixels. Otherwise when it resizes it, it will come out as a normal picture.

Since you got a 100 x100 limit, you need this size image:

Thank you so much Just wondering, how did you make it smaller so it would work? Every time I seem to make it smaller it still wouldn't work

I use the site ezgif.com/resize because it let's me resize, adjust speeds, crop gifs without ruining them or leaving a nasty watermark. Be sure to download and upload since the links from the site don't last forever. :3

You might want to consider an avatar extension, it helps make gif avatars look nice; in my opinion. ^0^
