THIS GUIDE IS INCOMPLETE!
I have collected information and problems from those who are planning on resetting in order to construct this guide. This is my way to reset well.
It isn't necessarily a method, or anything else, it's just chronological advice? Idk, but I'm just going to get to it.
Most common issues answered here:
I need my villagers held but it is taking ages. Help?
If you have smugs or uchis to get held, don't. You can plot reset for them and one other villager type you don't get as your main 5. Don't get all of them held, take a maximum of three. I recommend taking your favourites and/or most expensive ones. Or, like I occasionally, just jump the gun. I had a town corruption with 7 tier 1 villagers and I'm not fussed about it. You can always get back villagers.
I have progressed so far, I don't want to lose it all.
If you fear losing progress, maybe you shouldn't reset. Although in the end, a fresh start is always great and it will be lots of fun getting back that progress. You can visit towns in other seasons to get fish and bugs, and fossils can easily be purchased here. How do you think I got my cafe three weeks into the town, eh? ^u^
I'd have to repay all my home loans again!
But do you regret the way you've done your home? If you repay it again, you will feel proud. All you need is some tbt bells to get you going! Or a tier one villager that you want held. You could sacrifice the villager to give you an easy start. You can always get the villager back, whether it's as a starter or from one of our trusty members.
But my items!
Simple! You can get them held easily as well as your hybrids.
