So, I have a game card with a town that I'm going to reset on, because once I had the map, I realized I didn't want to do that theme anymore, but it was too early to sell the town. Now that I can sell the town I've been stuck with 2 ideas in mind for a few days now.

The first idea was the original, make the town a secret autumn woods.
Pros
+Everythin is planed out already (in my memo pad atleast)
+Many of the villagers are from amiibo cards I already own
+I like autumn and really like the colours the town was going to be set in

Cons
-I already have an autumn town and I like to keep variety between my towns. There's no way I'm changing the original town, completely out of question.
-I feel I might get bored with it
-Autumn tows are very common
-Since everythin is already planned out, there really isn't much to do

Now, the second idea was for a regular town, nicknamed 'Townie'. It's going to be based off of my actual city, to look like a real town and stuff.
Pros
+This town will be really casual, a nice break from my already very themed towns. Names of players and their houses aren't tied to the central town theme.
+Villagers don't matter in this town, I can keep whoever I want without it ruining the 'theme'
+This town would be seasonal so I don't need it stuck on any one date
+I haven't planned everythin out yet, so I can do some experimenting
+I can incorporate the colours of the first town when autumn comes around

Cons
-Pathwork I see would be a cobblestone path, which I'm not entirely a fan of
-A little basic cause the town itself will be kinda simple
-I don't have a name for this town yet. I might just end up using Townie, but Townie Town Hall sounds kinda funny.

Any thoughts, ideas or suggestions would help.

I’d go with the second theme if I were you! Especially if you like having variety in your towns, plus it’s a more unique theme IMO. Also not already having it planned may prove to be more fun

I personally love Autumn towns. Just like I love zen towns and spring towns. There's 8 million of them but I enjoy seeing them every time. That being said, it seems like you might be happier with the townie theme. it might be fun to let it grow organically if you've already got a town that you've planned out. Let us know which way you choose!

I’d go with the second town! Sounds like you will have a lot more freedom with that town and won’t get bored of it too easily. I’m the same, I can’t have two towns be too similar or I get bored.

if you already have other themed towns, then i think a town where you have more freedom might be the best way to go for this, just to do something different! also, the idea of basing it off your actual city is so cool, i'm very curious about how it will turn out ^^

I think both sound lovely, but your "townie" idea would be different from what you already have. For the variety and relaxed nature of it, I would probably choose that.

Going to agree with the others who say the second idea. There's a DA mischacrossing visited which is called City. It was pretty memorable to me despite all the "season" themed towns I enjoyed and adored. Here's the video; not sure if you've visited the DA or watched the video itself, but just in case you're interested I linked it. c:

Normally I would say autumn theme cause I like the natural look with not too much 'development'. but since you already have one like that the townie one should be the way to go for something new and different

Thanks for the answers everyone! I've decided to make a Townie town, so Secret is no more. I got a map I like on the 4th or 5th time of selling my town, and my starting villagers are cool too; Daisy, Rodeo, Fang, Freya and Sterling.

awwwww i'd love to see how you work on it

Sounds cool! I was going to say you should go with something more challenging and different, so I'm glad you went with Townie. :D

Plus I think Townie Town Hall sounds excellent.
Did you end up naming it Townie? XD

Aww, you got like 3 of my favorite villagers! Congrats!

Lol yeah, I couldn't think any other name to name it that comes across as town-like.

Update on Townie! I mean to type this earlier but I was gettin ready for work this mornin. I haven't plotted any animals yet, I'm still tryin to decide on where to put the house plots. So, no new animals gave moved it yet. But I know one thing for sure, Fang will be transferred to Luminosa. Maybe Daisy. Even thou I have Rodeo's card, I might end up transferring him to Treehut. That leaves Freya and Sterling. I like them and all, but the houses are in weird spots, they all plotted around the bridge. This is the struggle of havin nice starters, you don't like where they are.

ALSO, I have never seen this before. So I was goin around makin plots. I went to another town to get myself a shovel and went back. There's a rock right next to the river, literally one space away from it. I thought for sure it was the fake rock but IT WAS NOT? It's real? So, yeah never seen that before.

I... did not think that was possible. Although I guess rocks don't have to work like PWPs and houses. But still. That is bizarre.

Like touching the river or 1 space away?

Like one space away. I can fit my character between the river and rock with no more room. I've never seen a rock that close to a river natrually before. Pavement and animals houses, yes. Cliffs and rivers, no.

It's pretty much like a 1?1 pwp. You can put a streetlight pwp 1 space close to a river too.
