Autosaving & Resetting Discussion

When have you noticed it happening most? Is there anything in particular that triggers it? Does it appear completely random?

I've been curious about this for a little bit - "resetting" is a pretty common thing in Animal Crossing games, so I think it'd be neat to paint a better picture of where resetting works, and where to avoid it, due to autosaving.

Do you mean quitting without saving? Where I come from, resetting means erasing your town and starting over.

I've noticed the game autosaves after approx. 3 Minutes.

Where does it work best? Kicking villagers out using the campsite (No amiibo required)
