Aurora has fleas?

I have just spoken to Aurora a villager of mine and some black bits were jumping off her? She never said anything about it. I know shes a penguin etc

Could it be because of my time travelling? How does it go away?

Any villager can get fleas at random. Just hit her with a net to catch them.
