So I got Marshal in my cycle town and I happened to be lucky enough to have him move out on a day that I landed on. I haven't seen the inside of his house, but he isn't wearing his original shirt. Otherwise his catchphrase and all is the same, and I'm pretty sure his house should be in tact as well.

Since I'm the host, I'll allow you to adopt the villager first, and then I'll put up some stuff at re-tail for the price of whatever he happens to go for. This ends tonight. (8 PM eastern time zone)
