Astral projection

Lucid dreaming is simply a dream in which you're aware it is one and control the world around you. Astral projection is an out of body experience.

The video described that you can do literally whatever you want in an out of body experience

y'know, like a lucid dream

I always saw astral projection as those dreams where it does feel like you left your body, and it felt super real but you weren't in control so it wasn't necessarily a lucid dream

Idk if that's right or not but yeah

No, that's not it for sure.

I gave it a go for the first time in years just a few minutes ago. Almost an hour passed and it felt more like 15 minutes. I actually got to the point where my body started vibrating and then I lost my calm. I opened my eyes after that and was completely paralyzed for about a minute.

Astral projection is different.

Astral projection is an out-of-body experience believed by many to be a vision of the afterlife. I could explain a little better, but that's the simplest way to put it.

Lucid dreaming on the other hand, is a dream in which you are aware you are dreaming, which gives you the ability to manipulate the dream environment, an experience unmistakably different to an astral projection.

definitely not something i would like to experience. it wpuld make my dissociation like 50 times worse or something smh

Basically, AP is when you turn into a ghost for a bit.

I don't want to do this, as it involves staying stock-still when you sleep. I hate staying still when I sleep.
