1) How did you get into Pokemon?
Played it since I was very little on the Gameboy color! Pokemon Red was my first one but I barely understood what was going on haha. Love the little critters and then started collecting the cards too! Still have a lot of my old cards, which apparently are worth a quite a bit now.
2) What are your top 5 least favorite Pokemon?
Now this is one you don't hear every day!
- Landorus - I do not like what he did to the competitive meta. Its just, Landorus all the time now ever since he was introduced. SWSH meta was great for awhile when he wasn't there but now its... just him. Also don't like how Landorus looks
- Tornadus - I do not like the genies haha.... Why is it pure flying, why is it so good? Why does it look that way?
- Thundurus - Bet you never saw this one coming! Same reason as above.
- Conkledurr - I don't mind fighting pokemon but what is this
- Buzzswole - I get that Ultra Beasts are supposed to be different from regular Pokemon but what in the world... It's a buff Mosquito. Why....
- Vanilluxe - Bonus since I listed 3 of basically the same pokemon! I'm all for Pokemon that look like household items but Pokemon that look like processed food items is where I draw the line. Its just... weird...
3) Which country would you want Gen 9's region to be based on?
I'm surprised there hasn't been an Australia one yet! I bet that would be cool!
4) If you had to add a new type into Pokemon, what type would it be and why?
Ohh that's a hard one... The type I think would make the most sense would be Sound/Sonic because there's so many moves that already fit that category but are just, Normal type.
The type I would like the most is Light!
Because I want a Light type Eeveelutions Because I think there would be a lot of pretty pokemon that emerge from this new typing and a quite a few moves would fit under this category!
5) What are some of your favorite Pokemon to use competitively?
Espeon! Espeon is my favorite Eeveelution and I love Magic Bounce, its so funny to bounce back hazards at opponents when they don't expect it. Sadly Espeon isn't as good as it once was now.
Another one is
Gengar, hes funny, he can do funny things, and hes a speedy boi! Destiny Bond is also a funny move.
6) Which of the Golden Sun games have you played, and how many times have you played each one?
All of them! I... dunno how many times ive played them, probably like, the original 5 times, TLA 5 times as well? I really loved the game as a kid! Dark Dawn I only played once because it was Dark Dawn... ya....
7) What is your opinion of the Golden Sun series as a whole?
Love it! Wish there was more... One of the best RPGs series I've ever played. Combat is great, story is great, whats not to love!
8) Who's your favorite Golden Sun character?
Probably
Mia! I've always liked the Water/Ice element and shes definitely the coolest
heh of the bunch!
9) Somewhat awkward question, but, how long did it take you to recognize the character in my avatar? (that's, uh, assuming you did, of course)
Your current one right? I knew it was Felix pretty much right away haha.
10) Are there any games have you not played but want to play?
I would love to play Persona 5 Royal and Final Fantasy 7 Remake at some point! I don't own a PS4/5 though and can't justify buying the console for just those two games because nothing else interests me on the Playstation right now.
11) Why are RPGs your favorite genre of games? (at least, I'm assuming they are, lol)
I like story based games and watching numbers go up I guess haha... I love the cool spell animations that a lot of RPGs have these days as well, cool to look at! I also enjoy challenging boss battles, feel like puzzles you have to solve but with numbers and cool explosions!
12) What is your top 10 list for RPGs you've played?
For sake of diversity I'll list only one per franchise otherwise it would be just the same franchise over and over.
- Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky - My all time favorite game! Its a Pokemon but you get to BE the pokemon! I can finally be an Eevee! I love how cutesy the game is but has a really thrilling and somewhat dark story behind it. Definitely unexpected and I love it!
- Tales of Symphonia - My Introduction into the Tales of Series and what a game it was! One of the only games (if not the only) on the Gamecube that required two disks and it sure needed it with the 80+ hours of gameplay and story. Have some of the best characters created Ily Colette you cutie angel and has amazing story with plenty of twists and turns and amazing gameplay!
- Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door - The funniest RPG ive ever played, I love how self aware the game is with its jokes, breaking the 4th wall on multiple occasions. The first time I played the Bowser Minigame level I couldn't stop laughing for like 5 minutes while my parents watched me deeply concerned. Amazing gameplay, amazing story!
- Rune Factory 4 - My favorite farming sim game! I love the balance between farm sim and typical RPG elements, this game does it the best out of all the Rune Factory games to date imo!
- Final Fantasy 10 - First saw this game at a friends house watching her try to beat the Yunalesca fight for like 3 hours. All the fancy spell and overdrive animations is what made me try this game, and what an experience it is even if it is a bit cheesy!
- Golden Sun: The Lost Age - One of my childhood favorite games! Another game with very flashy graphics for its time and amazing story! I remember spending the drive to summer camp grinding wonder birds to try to hit the level 99 cap (and i did!)
- Octopath Traveler - This game feels like a blast from the past in terms of old school JRPGs. While the story is nothing special, the gameplay is some of the funnest Ive ever played! I love the Break and Boost mechanics of this game and the customization you can apply to characters. Allows you to make some really cool combinations!
- Xenoblade Chronicles - Wow what a story this game has! One of the best written stories ive seen! I love how it plays like a Single Player MMO, always had a soft spot for those type of games!
- Etrian Odyssey 4 - While the story in this game is basically non existent, I love how the game just gives tons of classes to choose from and then lets you build your own party. You can do whatever you want! Even did a playthrough of all mages because I could.
- Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn - My entry to this series and man I picked a hard one to start on. I saw the game over screen so many times I couldn't even begin to count. Still loved it though!
13) How did you manage to get so many collectibles + TBT in just over a year of being on the forums?
Back when the ACNH market was still alive, I spent a lot of time trading stuff for NMT both here and offsite so I could village hunt and buy other items. Once I got my dreamies, I then started hording a massive amount of NMT before duping rumors started, at which point I looked for a more stable currency, tbt! Then for the remainder of the ACNH market golden days, I decided to open up my own shop selling Celeste DIYs among other stuff, basically the highest value items and spent a lot of time farming them, even set up a secondary character just to farm the most valuable ones by learning all the less valuable ones on that character.
For the longest time, I thought collectibles were silly, why would I want pictures on a site that I probably wouldn't use much? Then someone offered me a few collectibles for 2 Celeste DIYs and... here I am....
All in all, I gained 70k tbt in net value from the ACNH market before it collapsed entirely to what it is today.
