The next Splatfest draws near! Next week, we pit art against science! Now, we here at the Squid Research Lab know that you?re a talented bunch of artists. We?ve seen what you can do in art contests, on Miiverse and, not to mention, all the rad fan art uploaded to Tumblr! It seems at first glance that art will have no problem taking it all. BUT! When you think about all the greats hanging out on the science side (Bill Nye! Neil deGrasse Tyson! Beakman!), it?s not hard to see how science could win this one!
Pledge your allegiance tomorrow in game, and we?ll see you on the splattlefield 9/18 at 9 PM PT. You?ll have 24 hours to ensure victory for your team!

I KNOW RIGHT THEY ALWAYS HAVE TO MAKE IT SO HARD. I'm probably going to choose art since I know it'll be more popular and I really need the snails for some perfect roll attempts, but science is orange and Marie and orange and Marie are my favorite things...

But I feel like more kids will choose art so science will probably have the higher win rate. I might go science but I also use the Inkbrush so I'm back to art so I REALLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO

I've never had trouble deciding on which team to join for splatfests and the trend of easy decisions for me continues. It is basically my 2nd worst subject vs my 2nd best subject in school. I think it should be obvious which team I am going to choose.

I am also having a hard time choosing a side... Last Splatfest was my first but I had an easier time choosing a side because I really like the Decepticons logo and I felt like being on the side of evil for once... Mwahaha!

Anyways... Back to being serious. I'm having a tough time choosing this time round because I've loved art for a very long time and have (almost) always enjoyed doing it. I also have a fairly creative mind. Personally though I'm not that great at it. On the other hand, I also have a very logical mind and find science very intriguing. Chemistry I was very bad at in school though, and I never took Biology since I can be a bit squeamish. Physics on the other hand is right up my alley.

Finally, I am currently in school for Civil Engineering Technology which includes being both creative (building/designing things) and being scientific (the physics of how things work, forces, etc).

I notice a lot of people tend to look to the team colours when they can't decide between two teams, but I personally love both purple and orange. Man I don't know what to do... I'll give myself the rest of the week before I make the final decision in game. It's gonna be a tough one!
