My villagers talk a fair amount.Probably more than I actually notice since I end up missing more than half of their conversations.

Mine never seem to speak to one another .___. they walk past each other all the time but don't talk! Although Marshal keeps chatting up Cherry. XD Its so cute & funny!

It's uncommon, but my villagers chat with each other. ^^ I'd say it's around 1-3 chatting experiences for every 2 weeks.

Hardly ever, it's pretty disappointing how they will walk into each other and very very rarely talk. In fact most of the conversations I've seen between villagers have been when I've trapped them together.

Do they live far away from each other in your NL game? I find this has a huge impact on the amount of gossip and talking to each other. In the beginning all my villager houses were spread out across the map and my villagers rarely talked to each other. Now that they al llive pretty close they're constantly chatting.

p.s: Yes the personalities were a lot more excessive in WW, at leas the snooties and crankies could really be bitter.

I overhear a few conversations from time to time, I find them really funny. I've noticed them interacting without talking to, they'll get random signs around their heads (indicating surprise, like when they ping you, or being sad) and I've even seen them swap out clothes while doing this so they were presumably giving each other gifts and one of them wore those clothes on the spot. Some of them also seem to have contagious catchphrases.

muffy and kyle basically yap to eachother 24/7 which is a factor that had a huge effect on the average

yuka and annalisa indirectly associate a lot, like they have exchanged the most gifts out of any of thwm and its so ****ing cute

I would say about once a week, I see them chatting. I think they are chatty but I'm just not there when it happens. Must be talking about me or something!
