Specifically on other people. Say you see a girl you like...would you notice if they had makeup on? And would you like them more if they did (first impressions and stuff)?
Makeup generally isn't something I notice about a person right away (unless it's like super out there, I don't mean a lot of makeup, more like extravagant makeup) but even if I do notice that someone's wearing makeup, it definitely doesn't have an affect on how much I like them
I don't mind people who wear a lot of make up, and I don't mind people who don't wear any at all. I personally wear hardly any make-up, every once in a blue moon I'll actually doll up, usually for special occasions or something.
Iive always had an appreciation for girls who can do flawless eyeshadow and liner, and honestly some of the higher end products, that are super pigmented are mesmerising. I bought a highlighter the other day because it looked like a crystal, despite having zero talent at applying make-up, so yea, im into it when its on other people lmao
Im a girl and I wear makeup, I dont wear loads, just a bit of mascara to make my eyelashes due ti the fact they are like bright blonde and you can only just about see them and sometimes a bit of foundation, but not much, I dont think I wear too much and you can hardly notice it, girls in my college seem to be more popular with the boys when they wear makeup hence the fact I wear makeup, so im not a loner, lol
I cannot stand the idea of me wearing make up. It just feels so uncomfortable on my skin and the price of the stuff grosses me out too, so, no I don't wear make up. I might change my mind on it when I'm in my 20's or something, but I'm not hyped about having to learn how to apply make up and such.
I'm fine with others wearing make up though, it's their choice and they usually look rather pretty with make up. Then again that's the literal point of make up, but still.
im a girl with acne scarring so i always use foundation and it just fits in with my dark goth metal style and then think it looks gross when i accidently pack it on too thickly but other than that makeup is usually nice. i hate those people who change their bonestructure with countouring and eyeshape with eyeliner tho. i really like those experimental and not usual things like marilyn mansons and papa emeritus makeup but people who strive after changing their whole face with makeup and need one hour to do so just to try and look extremely pretty is really mweh and eew. looks more fake to me tbh. subtle and just enhancing is more nice and unnoticable but lately ive been liking plain face more just not that i would do that anytime soon before i get rid of my scarring lol.
This is so awesome to hear! I wear little to no makeup daily, but I always worry if I'm around people that they'll notice or be bothered. Nice to know people aren't
i used to be SUPER against makeup when i was little but now i dont really care and have a little interest in the stuff, actually. if you want to wear makeup more power to you
If I'm looking at them while we're talking, then most of the times I'll notice. Things like lipstick, mascara and eyeliner are easy to notice without much effort in my opinion.
I'm not really bothered by it. It's their choice not mine, though I do think you're able to give a bad first impression if your face shows that you had no clue what you were doing when you were in front of the mirror. The only moment when it would really bother me is if a girl is so insecure that she doesn't even dare to go outside without make-up on.
I hate wearing makeup, but I don't care if other people do (as long as it looks okay). I just don't like how it feels on my face, and I never go anywhere anyways, so why bother owning any? Another thing that turned me away from wearing makeup is how my friends tried to push me into wearing it even though I didn't want to. I had a friend tell me once that no one would like me if I didn't wear any. That of course, is stupid and I never listened to her. People should wear (or not wear) makeup because they want to. If you are happy not wearing any, that's great. If you are happy wearing makeup, that is also great. Whatever works for you.
