Are they ever going to make 3ds Metroid?

I'm just waiting for any Metroid news at this point, I'm sure Nintendo is backing away because
1)It's barely profitable
2)Retro did it better than the creator
3)Other M was disappointing

Prime Hunters was terrible, why would you want another? Metroid II needs a remake, and we just need a new platformer in general.

I would assume he means Metroid II, not Metroid Prime 2: Echos. Two very different games, one of them is already in 3D; only is an oooooold 2D sidescroller.

The game is essentially Metroid: Cut and Paste. It had about 4 original levels, then they milked everything from there. The only good thing about it was the multiplayer.

A platformer is what the majority of people are clamoring for. We've had enough Prime games, it's time to bury that series and move on.

Prime Hunters wasn't bad. It wasn't amazing either though.

A 2D-platformer is what I'm hoping for. I'd love to see a sequel to Super Metroid sort of like how they did with Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. That would be EPIC!

Hunters is the worst Metroid-game I've played.

Well, Prime 1 & 2 were very good, but Metroid is just one of those games that works best in 2D.

I think you misunderstand me. I love Prime, I enjoyed Prime 2, and I've played through Prime 3 multiple times. Prime Hunters was just a mess of bad graphics, bad controls, nearly nonexistent story, and bland levels.

I agree with you on the story and controls but besides that it was a ok game! I just want a better version with better graphics story and controls for 3ds!
