Are there some parts of your island that cause framerate drop?

Yes. The location I have my tiny library/outdoor library/outdoor laundry/outdoor bath together. Oof when I start running through that area is kinda hell. Also depending from where I'm going the outdoor library takes a while to load.

This happened to me when I had a rave looking area with 100 floor lights in an 10x10 square, lol. I took it all down to avoid it

It started to happen to me recently since I finally put down more items, I think it also lags for me cause of all my flower though

Classic Nintendo with their framerate issues.

I haven't experienced any yet but I also don't have that much going on with my island.

The fountain almost always disappears and reappears when I go near it. Other than that, my island is fairly empty, so no lag or anything.

I could never really tell the difference because from my eyes, I keep getting 20 frames per second throughout my island. However, playing the game handheld makes it a little more obvious with things being more choppy. 30 frames per second sounds like a luxury at this point.

I see people mention their game lagging a lot and it's got me wondering just how much furniture or whatever is required to make this happen? So far I haven't experienced any lag when I had areas set up. But I also didn't use a lot of furniture. Just enough for the locations to look nice.

I wonder if my floor lights are to blame. I don’t have even close to a hundred, but it is something I added to the affected area (a total of about 16).

My marketplace, grungy beach town area and my gnome research facility. I'm guessing those have frame rate drops because they use a lot of illuminated/lit up items and the marketplace has like a billion stalls lol. The frame rate drop is most noticeable during the day but it's fine at night. Not sure if it has to do with frame rate, but the fountain item always loads slower than everything else on the screen but there's no frame rate drop, just a pop in.

I get that Nintendo doesn't always have the best hardware compared to PS4 & Xbox, but yeesh AC isn't even that graphic intensive and it still lags :cautious:

People say, “It’s gameplay that matters, not power!” But can it at least be powerful enough for a Wii U-developed game like Breath of the Wild to run smoothly? Please?

Not usually, but I have any area with like 3 of the outdoor baths and that area was horrible during the bug-off. I think the combo of the running water and then the increased bugs spawning was a bit too much.

Yeah, I have a fish market area where I have all these stalls to store my fish, and frame rate instantly Plummets because I have so many fish and stalls there.

A couple of heavily themed sections, and since my island isn't near completion it's just going to continue to get worse, and worse. I dread what it will be like when it's all finished.
