Are there new diys to get with the update?

I'm wondering if I need to be shooting down balloons again, or are they event items/diys?

I believe there's at least one new recipe. I just saw the in game image but I haven't seen any confirmation that it's in the game yet.

yes there are new DIYs but from what I gather most are event related, meaning you will most likely get them from playing the events associated with the DIYs.
