Because I can't for the love of Tom Nook get any hyacinth hybrids for some reason and I've been doing the checkered pattern guide to get it to work but so far only two grew in separate weeks (like 1 per week so far).

I juat want blue and purple hybrids orz

The blue ones were a little slow for me with white + white, the purple i bought and they replicate almost every day (just breeding purple x purple).

I can spare a couple purple + blue if you want them!

I could sell you some blue if interested! I have way too many hybrid and base hyacinths

oof I gave up on breeding them and just bought a pair of each color except purple, which I managed to find just one when I dug pocketful of hybrids in someone's island. through the rain I ended up producing another purple. But honestly even having these hyacinth hybrids the orange ones I still have three after all this time. Maybe have 5 people water your hyacinths and they'll produce hybrids(?)

I guess I have no choice but to buy starters huh... 😰 I'm not exactly sure how much they cost in player markets so oops.

I don't think hyacinths were particularly hard (looking at you blue roses...) but it can take time. Just get 3-5 visitors to water your flowers every day and it will go way faster.

I've had mixed results when it comes to hyacinth breeding. I can grow orange and blue no problem, but had to buy pink and purple because they kind of just refused to show up on their own in my town even with a friend helping to water them. Hoping they can reproduce by themselves now, otherwise I'll have to keep trying the proper way.

I only got oranges but I'm glad I'm not the only one struggling lol oops.

I don’t recall flower breeding being this hard... (then again I was never able to breed blue roses or purple pansies in nl in all the time I had it...)

Hyacinth is my native flower so I got all the colors ASAP. I need at least one color in every other flower except Lily (just got black lillies today!) so it's proving to be a bit tough there.

Get some friends to come over and water your flowers. There's a buff that promotes hybrid growth if visitors water flowers. It can stack up to 5 times.

Hi OP. Hyacinth is not really hard to breed. I didn't use any pattern suggested by youtubers. I just plant all the 3 starter colours together and one day, the hybrids start budding. Starting with orange and pink, then blue and finally purple. Now I just let them clone each other. However, it does take time to get them all. In my case, I got my purple after about a month waiting. But so worth it

I have a lot of blue and a few purple if you ever need more! I’m happy to get rid of flowers lol

It took me FOREVER to breed just a few blue ones, even with TTing two years ahead (for campsite cycling.) I still haven't gotten a purple either. 😭

i don’t seem to have too much trouble! pink ones appear pretty often for me
