I seem to remember someone saying that there is a threshold for this, as in you can have so many items on the ground but once you hit a particular number you lose the perfect town status. If this is true then I reckon you could have a few but it would need to be limited if you want to retain a perfect town.

I seem to remember someone saying that there is a threshold for this, as in you can have so many items on the ground but once you hit a particular number you lose the perfect town status. If this is true then I reckon you could have a few but it would need to be limited if you want to retain a perfect town.
They count as a non-natural item and you have to have less than 10 of them on the ground for prefect town status. They do not count as trash in the sense of being like the can, boot, tire, spoiled turnips, etc. which ruin your perfect town if you have even one of them on the ground.
