I dunno where they come from but omg, they are yummy. I love the breading around the actual chicken. Much, much yum. Also they come in strips sometimes. Thin layers of chicken between breading, cut in a rectangle rather than made into a ball.

I was having the hardest time figuring out whether you were talking about chicken testicles or the food from the picture. Chicken bawlls. That's such a cute name for the food. :d

These seem more westernized as opposed to authentic... I might be wrong though. One of my long term boyfriends was Chinese I had a lot of authentic stuff due to that and that reminds me of americanized stuff.

Now for some more legit Chinese cuisine - deep fried cicada. Delicious, low-fat high-protein foodsource.

Then again, the native Chinese eat the most ridiculous things.

I don't know if chicken balls is chinese culture food? we have it pretty common here in the market and anywhere you just need to name what you want, chicken, beef, pork, fish~ ALL XDD

Chicken balls are delicious! I give the sweet and sour sauce to someone else and I dip them in Chinese curry sauce. I like them with egg fried rice best! :)

Yeah I work in a Chinese in Scotland and they are everywhere. We don't really call them 'chicken balls' in the restaurant though, we call it sweet and sour chicken in batter. It sounds a little better.
