It only gets to be ridiculous in saving time if you have a TONNNN of layers and a LOTTT of details. I don't really notice it taking more time to color since you don't even have to be at 100% until you want zoom in, but then again, it's been a while since I've done digital work.Anytime~<3 Haha, I try.
oh godd so glad I work on only 1 layer lol!! I remember SAI crashing on me periodically in the past from the saving process. But you're right, this whole time I thought working on a smaller canvas was saving me so much work but it doesnt even feel all that different haha
