I think everyone will have to wait in a queue for the next couple weeks/month. I'm a patron and I have to wait at least 30 minutes to get into the game. ;*( My brother (who isn't a patron) had 3,000 people ahead of him, it's unbelievable.
But if you really like the game, I totally recommend upgrading and getting patron status. There's so many perks you get + smaller wait time in the queue!

Oh and if you get booted/disconnected - if you log back in right after (there's a time limit, I'm not sure what it is), you will get your spot back in the queue. It works the same as if you're in the game, you won't have to wait in the queue.

Hey! I'm actually doubting with this game, don't know if I should download it or not... the game seems great but I don't know about the graphics... does anyone recommend it? why?

It doesn't hurt to try out the game, especially because it's free to play (yeah the queue times suck right now, but don't let that spoil the game for you) I totally recommend it though. There's endless things to do, I haven't gotten bored and I've been playing since Alpha. I think they could add a bit more dungeons and add more ways to obtain equipment, but I think that's why they emphasis you getting into crafting and upgrading as you level.
Anyways, there's a lot you can do if you're bored of questing. You can build your own boat and become a pirate. PvP and even go against your own race (which you can end up on Trial and there's the whole jury/jail time) Mounts level up with you and give you special perks. If you're totally not sure, I'd recommend looking up let's play's on youtube/twitch : )
I would also recommend it. I am currently playing on low quality settings, and it works fine for me, but I know that IF you have a good strong computer and you can play with the highest resolution, the views can be absolutely breathtaking. A friend of mine was a alpha/beta, and he has a good computer, so what he showed me sometimes was amazing.
The queues are horribly right now, but if you are able to spend a day at home and you try logging in in the morning/early afternoon, there are no/small queues.
Or start up queue the moment you get home, and maybe you can squeeze one or two hours in before heading of to bed XD
I have good hopes for improvement in the near future though =)
Currently I am a lvl 18 Animist (Shadowplay/Sorcery/Vitalism), and I am only looking for PvE at the moment, I enjoy this way of playing with this class =)
