Happy April Fool's Day!

I have three copies of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf."

Two of my copies/towns are well past this brand-new month of April.

In my third copy, I'm still in March.

I just want to suggest that, for those actually dealing with a game date of April 1 (April Fool's Day), using more than one human character is a good idea in order to get villager pics. You may like the idea of having more than one copy of your current villagers' pics.

My favorite way of distinguishing between the real and the fake villager (Blanca's game) is to go by villagers' birthday. (The fake villager will be off by a day, two, or three in his/her claim.)

Another method that seemed to work for me (I don't know if this was just coincidence but it happened on all the villagers I did) is the villager I talk to, is Blanca.

For example, if I talk to the villager on the left, the villager on the left will be Blanca. If anyone else could confirm this or test it out it would be a great tip.

It goes back and forth.

Watch for who claims what.

The villagers will talk about a number of things: favorite saying; rank in siblings; dream job; birthday.

Birthday is the easiest with which to deal. If you have a source list for villager birthdays, perhaps write down ahead of time villager birthdays (of those currently in one's town), and you exercise this flawlessly.

I also recommend doing a "Save and Continue" on your 3DS game console after each villager face-off. (Just in case you, as the player, make a mistake along the way.) After all villagers give you their pics, Blanca will give up and, the following day, you will receive that chaotic creature's pic in the mail.


Another Suggestion: If people are up for it, we could run a Villagers Pics' Potluck. (But I can't guess who is, and who is not, in the mood for that. There are forum members who do want to be paid in bells for that.)

...there's a cheat sheet on the wiki that has all the information. I now have everyone's picture thanks to it.

Can someone tell me what happens if you hand them something other than the towel??
