April fools day question!

Its aprils fools day in my town and just wondering if when they give you their picture, are you actually best friends with them like does their speech chance etc?

No, I don't think it makes you become best friends with your villagers. I have some villagers I already had when I did the April Fools' Day event and received their pictures, but who never did the things that the villagers I'm best friends with do (like visiting me without asking or sending me their pictures on other occasions).

They give you their pictures regardless of friendship levels, though, as long as you get the answers right.

Nope! It doesn't really change much of the friend ship, getting the picture is part of the event. You can even get the picture of some villager you hit on the head with nets and shovels. They have no choice on Aprils Fools Day.

No, they don't become best friends with you after. Mira moved in like a day before April Fool's and she gave me her picture bc I guessed correctly, and there wasn't any significant change in her behaviour towards me after lol (at least none that I saw anyways)

Just because you get their picture does not necessarily mean you have high friendship. You only get their pictures because you guessed correctly which animal was Blanca.

Like I said in my post... no, I don't think that happens. I didn't notice any of my villagers becoming best friends with me after I played that event (unless they already were).
