Apparently Punchy is a sleepwalker

So last night around midnight I decided to move Punchy’s house. When Nook called him in to ask permission, the poor guy showed up in his pajamas! He looked half asleep still and I think he may have been sleepwalking lol. I feel so bad for him, when the poor guy woke up this morning, his house was clear on the other side of the island! If I were him I’d be highly alarmed.

Now that I think of it, do you guys think Nook usually moves their houses with them still inside, or does he evict them for a night?

When I started doing reformations, the first thing in morning I would do is change a house, and I wake up like 6 am LOL so I always saw the villagers in their pajamas, it's so cute, but poor things. I don't know how Nook does it tho, remember when you paid your first loan and asked for house, and the next day your tent suddenly became a house? How does he do it, did he build it around you?

I think I’m less bothered by him actually building around you than I am by the thought of him picking up an existing structure and hauling it across the island totally intact lol.

As for how he does it so fast, pretty sure the answer is unpaid labor from Timmy and Tommy. You didn’t think they slept while the Cranny was closed, did you?
