I finished watching the anime a few weeks ago and started on the manga. 32 chapters in and I'm actually really not liking Kou and not sure how I feel about Touma. \_(>_>)_/

bah this is another typical shoujo manga that makes me want to punch walls

Yeah, I personally think they're both at fault. Touma was kinda trying to force Futaba to forget about Kou, I kind of feel like he was rushing it. While Futaba was only really playing boyfriend/girlfriend with Touma, when she knew she still had feelings for Kou. Lots of people want Touma and Narumi to get together.
I hate Kou and feel sympathetic towards Touma, the guy obviously cares much more and as for Futaba, typical annoying as ever heroine >_< I really dislike her type of character; I actually usually prefer tough/non-wishy-washy chicks xD Overall I am fairly addicted to the story, but the whole love triangle thing is also fairly annoying. I guess I may end up finishing it anyways, but took a small hiatus due to disliking the character development lol. I feel Touma and Futaba should just hook up, though unikely. I really just think Kou is a jerk.
I haven't read/watched it yet, but I have read Strobe Edge which is by the same author and is one of my favorite mangas of all time. So I have actually been wanting to see this. I'm currently on the hunt for good anime/manga. I seem to have caught up with most things, but I haven't watched Kill la Kill or Free yet.
Oh my gosh, I love this series, haha! I'm always impatiently waiting for the next chapter to come out. xD
I hope they make more episodes of the anime as well and I can't wait to see the live action!

when the anime first came out, i liked the first episode so much that i decided to read the manga. i really enjoyed it for a while, but it does my head in now. i've grown to dislike both futaba and kou, but i guess they deserve each other with their indecisive, yet impulsive personalities. i'm much more of a touma fan. he was a bit too pushy with futaba, but he was so passionate and caring. too bad the feelings were never reciprocated. i also love murao a lot. the only reason I still read it is because i've come this far.
i'm really not a fan of female protagonists like futaba (and suzume from HnR). tsundere 4 lyf.
It's pretty... Twisty. Don't know if I love this series or not because like 80% of the time I wanna strangle Futaba. I love it since it has its moments but I hate it because it's just so fricking complicated omfg. IDK WHO TO FEEL BAD FOR?!?! but anyway, my favorite ship is murao and tanaka sensei ---- (i'm a sucker for sensei ships im sorrrrrrrry) but i'm also at the point where i don't mind if she ends up with kominato because he's an angel and she's that much of a great character, like i think she's pretty good with anyone tbh.. but please don't let her get hurt poor sensei though, he actually likes her but he can't and damnit i don't want this i already got enough of this from hnr.
okay anyway, i also like touma's friend??
the one that's going out with yuri i think.
and yeah of course i like kou. i like kou for me though. the only reason i like him with futaba is so that he can be happy -_- but i don't like futaba at all tbh so i don't really ship them. i ship kou x happiness i guess

I'm kinda hoping Kominato ends up with her but I'm fine with Tanaka-sensei too. I'm pretty curious to see what will happen between Tanaka-sensei and Murao. Maybe they'll have a relationship in the future! There's soo many people to feel bad for. I can personally relate to when Yuuri and Futaba both had feelings for Kou. I know how hard it was for Futaba to tell Yuuri how she truly felt about him.
