I opened up my town for faraway people..its called Sanfran. Oh do you want me to TT to the day that Marshal is leaving and then have you come over and talk to him?

Yes that would be lovely! But it wouldn't be "me" it would be my trustworthy person talking to him so they can hold Marshal for me.

OOOH I'm assuming you've never traded villagers before. Anyways, once Marshal is in boxes. And you added their friend code and they added yours. The person will come over to your town and speak to Marshal. That's it
