Anyone want/need more storage?

I know that the max storage is 1,600 and that's more than in other games (That I recall lol) but I've been filling up my inventory quickly with crafting supplies, extra tools, clothing, and items that I'm just hoarding (I love collecting furniture sets!!)

I keep having to go through my storage picking through things that I could part with and finding myself wishing we had even more storage room! I'm really hoping we at some point get more storage (I'd pay any amount of bells to get even more storage!! Or even better yet, separate storage for crafting materials!)

Anyone else finding themselves wanting or needing more storage than they currently have?

Haha you must be hoarding quite a bit. Even I feel like I store EVERYTHING and I'm still only at 900 / 1600 (I'm sure I could shrink this significantly if I got rid of a lot of the clothing I'll never really use)

I've been hoarding a lot of crafting materials and shells (Because I've heard from my friend that the shell furniture needs quite a bit of different shells) as well as hoarding waaaay too much clothing...I just need every color LOL

Really 1,600 is simply not enough with all the color variations and crafting materials. The design slot limit is also crippling.

You might say "well you can just order everything you need", except there are plenty of seasonal/special items that you cannot reorder, plus you are limited to 5 reorders a day.

I'm a hoarder too but I have more than enough storage. My house is on the second highest upgrade, so I get 800 right now, and I only have ~500ish filled. It's way easier in this game to store things.

I think there really should be a storage bin outside for crafting supplies. It just creates a mess outside or clogs up storage.

I know right?? I've nearly run out of design slots...There's just a lot of stuff I want (I'm glad I didn't use custom paths tbh)

It is a lot easier for sure! But golly if they introduce new furniture or clothing....I'm totally not gonna have any room lmao

ive tried to minimize my hoarding (ive been only keeping 5 or so stacks of each material, only the clothes i know ill use, etc) but what i really wish we had is seperated storage. bags/purses should have their own storage, wardrobes/dressers should have their own... idk i just like to be neat and organized and one giant storage section doesn't do that for me

Oh my god yes!!! That would make things way easier...Plus I'd love something like an Ender Chest like thing where you could get to your storage from anywhere and not just your house (Or at least be able to get to your crafting materials that are in your storage)

Exactly! I've been trying to make the giant robot which takes a lot of crafting supplies and ahhhhh it takes up so much storage (

I wouldn't be opposed to more storage if offered. But, if not, it's fine.
There's so much more storage than previous games so I'm not really complaining. But I also utilize more than one character in my games and NH has bumped that up to 8 possible characters/houses for storage. So, I'm not really worried. I'm still sitting at 430/1600 but we haven't gotten through all the seasons yet. Even still, I try to stay organized and be realistic of what actually needs to be in my storage.

I would be itching for space if I bought everything in every color.

I stick to buying outfits I really like and usually only buy 1-2 variants at most. Adding in some furniture and materials, my storage space is only at 300~ or so. I still haven't fully upgraded my house yet either.

I’m just hoping that they will increase it when they release an update that requires us to have more storage space. If they add more furniture sets then we’re going to need that extra storage space.

You're a collector at heart! I can only imagine how underwhelming the storage space is for you if you're gathering everything in all colors. Might be time to add another player to the mix and steal half their storage space.

1,600 would be enough storage space.. if (almost) everything didn't come in so many different colors. I like to have a lot of options available lol. Especially considering we can only order 5 items from the catalog per day, it makes me want to keep everything on hand.
Also, it would be great if things like materials/NMT/etc. could stack up to 99, or at least like 60.

You could always make a second profile on your switch, play AC with that, get a fully upgraded house and have an additional 1600 storage

I mean there's nothing wrong with buying color variants but if it's orderable then you don't need to keep every color in storage. If I order something in 8 colors, I may keep 2-3 I know I'll use/prefer and then gift/trade/sell/throwaway the others...because I already have them in my catalog if I truly feel like I gotta get it again at some later date.
If it's not orderable and I wanna keep it but I'm not going to use it because it conflicts with theme or seasonal etc...then I store it in a house of another character to keep my main's storage tidy.

I'm not at max yet (haven't been able to afford many house upgrades) so it's been a struggle. I have about 320 at the moment and I've had to get rid of so much stuff.

'cause that stuff does take up a lot of room together. otherwise, nah, I think I'd be good. I don't want all the things in all the colors or anything. I did reset, and currently I need more storage space, but that's 'cause I only have the second house upgrade so far.

Yeah I think a separate storage for tools and crafting materials would be great...I've found them taking up so much of my storage ;;;
