Anyone used green mums to 'bulk out' natural-looking flower patches / riverbanks?

I've got a load of green mums that I thought would look good as wild flowers, either on their own or alongside other flowers to create natural looking flower patches or along the riverbanks, but I'm struggling with how to place them and could do with some inspiration if possible. I need a plan before I start shifting them all around!

If anyone's used their green mums in this way or anything similar, I'd love to see some pictures.

Thanks in advance!

That looks cool - thanks!

I've gone with white and purple hyacinths, white and yellow cosmos, and white wind flowers as my 'wild' flowers.

I tend to put them in diagonal clusters of two at the base of trees which looks nice but also leaves a space free for shaking furniture down. Not sure I've explained that too well. Like this...

I want to try to use 'wild' flowers along my river banks too, adding green mums into the mix, but struggling for a way to make it look natural but still have some logic to it in terms of where to plant them.

yes, i was planning to use green mums all throughout my town for a more natural look! i personally only use white flowers (lilies, hyacinths, and mums) besides the green mums, so it blends in really well! i think weeds also have a nice natural look but it bothers me that they lower my town rating, so i like to mix in my green mums as “weeds”, if that makes sense ;;

This sounds like it would look pretty! I only have one green mum so i cant even attempt doing it. Good luck though, i would love to see pics after you get it done.

I have been using green mums in a garden to look like various green vegetables since we don’t have any in game. It doesn’t look like vegetables but it looks nice lol

And this is where I would put all my green mums...

In all seriousness, sounds cute! I love green flowers, I'm sad there's no green roses/lilies since they EXIST BUT WHATEVER NINTENDO

Yeah, I had all sorts of flowers on my island but have gradually chipped away at the colours and variety I use. The red windflowers were the latest to get replaced! I'm now down to purple, white and yellow as my 'wild' flowers...with green to be mixed in somehow.

I use the other species and colours in my villagers' gardens and the more formal areas around the plaza / fountains etc.. so at least I get a bit of variety.
