anyone received the tree clock?

When I updated and started the game, Isabelle told me that I had been mayor in my town for 3 years. They dis a little celebration and got me a small clock in the shape of the town tree.

I have 2 questions:
? is this from the update? was this here before?
? are there yearly gifts? or is ths the only gift you get?

would appreciate any information, I was quite surprised (and happy)

I haven't gotten that yet, when did you start? did you coincidentally start on november 2nd 2013..? and no i dont think that has been there before, i have not gotten anything from her and i've had my town for almost 3 years as well. it sounds cute <3

I've known a lot of players here that have had their towns since launch and I've never heard of this before.

I started the game on Oct25th (my bday) but didn't play that day!

The dialogue stated that it was Oct25th but it's Halloween in my town today, so I guess it's a non-skipabble event

The proper item name is "sapling tree", I'll try to post a picture

Yup. I also got that today. They told me I was a mayor for one year on October 30th. It's November 1st but who cares. Got that tree clock nonetheless
